Special Presentation - "Building Your own Prison"
A continuing awareness and education program for: the transgender community, its individual members and their significant others, family and friends, and allies!
Sandra Samons, PhD, LMSW, LMFT
Sandra has provided counseling services to the Transgender Community for 20+ years and is the author of “When the Opposite Sex Isn’t” in which she discusses a broad range of issues related to MTF transgender, including tough topics like sexual attraction. Her counseling focuses on: Individuals; Marriage or Partners; Friends and Family; and much more. (See her website for additional details.)
Sandra uses an open and honest approach to therapy, collaborating with clients to help them identify and work toward their goals. When appropriate for the individual person, she will encourage re-evaluating their lives before considering various steps towards transition.
She has been, and continues to be, a supporter of Crossroads Chapter.
If you, your significant other, and/or family members plan to attend, we would like to hear from you!
What would you or your S.O. like her to address during her presentation?
Please come prepared to hear a wonderful presentation!
And, then, participate in a very open inter-active discussion with Sandra about any topic that is important to your transgender issues!
Please complete the RSVP Form, and leave us a question or two that you or your SO would like to ask Sandra!
